Prayer for Letting Go of Worry

Worry can quietly take over your thoughts, pulling your attention toward things that may or may not happen. It can feel constant and hard to set aside.

Prayer gives you a way to release those worries to God instead of carrying them on your own.

A Prayer for Letting Go of Worry

When worry feels constant, you can pray like this:

God,
I keep thinking about things that are out of my control. Worry keeps returning, and it is hard to let it go.

Help me release these concerns into Your hands. Remind me that You are already working in ways I cannot see.

Guide my thoughts back to Your peace. Help me trust You with what I cannot control and rest in Your care.

In Christ’s name, amen.

Releasing Worry Through Prayer

Give worries to God repeatedly

Letting go of worry is often a process. Each time it returns, you can place it back in God’s hands.

Trust what you cannot see

God is working even when you do not have answers. Trusting Him helps loosen the grip of worry.

Stay rooted in prayer

Returning to prayer helps keep your focus on God rather than your concerns.

You can explore more prayers for specific needs or grow in trust through daily prayer.

You do not have to carry worry alone. God is ready to take it from you.
