then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.

Acts 4:10,12 (NIV)

In our reading today, we're invited into a profound scripture that carries so much weight in our Christian faith. We are reminded of the foundational truth that salvation comes from no other source but Jesus Christ.

This is a message of hope and unprecedented exclusivity. It's an invitation to the world, an open call to everyone who is weary and heavy laden to come and find rest in Jesus alone. Drawn in by His grace, we encounter something extraordinary. This is the only path to salvation, our only means to eternal life.

But what does this mean for us today? It means the salvation we seek, the peace we desire, the forgiveness we need; all are found in Him alone. Our job titles, wealth, connections, or good deeds cannot save us. Our salvation, just like the lame man's healing in today's verse, comes from faith in Jesus' name.

We must then embrace this fundamental truth in every area of our lives, reflecting it in our actions, decisions, relationships, everything. It is a clear message to the world that Jesus is the only Saviour. Let's carry this truth boldly, knowing that it's in His name that we find our salvation, healing, and transformation.
