God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10 (NIV)
In our reading today, we find a reassurance of God’s unfailing memory. He is not unjust to forget our work and efforts done in love for His name. The acts of kindness you display, the words of encouragement you offer, the time and resources you dedicate in service to others in His name - all those are recorded and appreciated by Him.
We are often tempted to feel our efforts are going unnoticed, especially when we don't see immediate results or receive human accolades. During such moments, we must remember our primary audience: it is God who sees what is done in secret and will reward us openly (Matthew 6:4). Today's verse reminds us that our labors are not in vain, for we serve a God who acknowledges every act done in love, every seed sown in faith.
Let this message inspire us to persevere, tirelessly dedicating ourselves to service as we help and encourage others. Our responsibility is to remain faithful, serve diligently and continue in our love towards others, remembering that our ultimate reward comes from God, not men.
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the reassurance that You see and appreciate all our efforts. Help us not to become weary in doing good and may our hearts be ever eager to serve others in love. Continue to strengthen us in this journey of faith, knowing that our reward lies in You. We ask all these in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
