Manifested Love
Feb 26, 2026
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9 (NIV)
Today's verse invites us into an astounding truth - the manifestation of God’s love in our lives. The Divine chose to send His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. God’s love is not just an abstract idea or a distant, mystical force, it is tangible, experienceable, and life-giving.
This is the wonder of the gospel. It is more than just a collection of life principles or moral guidelines. It is the story of a love so profound and sacrificial that it would give up its most precious possession so that we could truly live.
The manifestation of God’s love, as seen in the sending of Jesus, fundamentally changes our relationship to life itself. We do not merely exist, we live - fully, deeply, eternally - and all because of love.
As we ponder on this majestic love, let us remember that our lives are meant to carry that same love to others. Just as Jesus was sent into the world, so we are also sent into the world every day, carrying with us this transformative love of God.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your incredible love, made manifest in the gift of your Son. Help us to truly grasp how deep, how wide, how long, and how high your love for us is. May we become bearers of your love to everyone we meet. Empower us to live our lives fully, reflecting Your love to the world around us, just like Jesus did. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
