For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

Titus 2:11-12 (NIV)

Imagine sitting in a classroom where grace is the teacher. In today's reading, we find an amazing truth: God's grace is not only our salvation but also our instructor, guiding us to live holy lives. How privileged we are to be personally tutored by divine grace itself!

God's kindness and love is often translated as grace in scripture. This grace will lead us on a journey towards righteousness, self-control and godliness; living upright lives that reject ungodliness and worldly desires.

Grace's tutoring doesn’t stop at merely showing us the right path, it also equips us with the strength to walk upon it. Truly, Grace transcends pardon; it empowers practice. It isn't just about second chances, it is about transformation. When we allow this divine teacher to guide us, every day becomes a lesson in becoming more like Christ.

Today’s Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, the divine teacher that leads us and guides us. Teach us to fully accept and embrace this gift so as to live lives reflecting Your righteousness. Strengthen us, Lord, to make choices that align with Your will and help us live out our faith valiantly. Mold us into the likeness of Jesus, leading us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
