But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

Galatians 4:4-5 (NIV)

Deep within today's verse lies a beautiful truth about God’s timing—it is perfect. At its core, the scripture reading reveals that when the world was ready, God sent forth His Son to redeem us. But before this appointed time, there were countless generations who longed for the day of this fulfillment. To them, it might have seemed like an endless wait, but God had a precise plan.

In the same way, our lives are part of His divine timeline. There might be moments where we feel like time has passed us by, or perhaps we’ve missed opportunities. Nevertheless, today's verse reassures us that God operates on His appointed time— not a moment too soon or too late.

We might not always appreciate God's timing, especially during seasons of waiting. It can be challenging when God doesn't move according to our timetables. Yet, it's important to remember that just as God fulfilled His greatest promise at the right time, He will also fulfill His promises in our lives in His perfect timing.
