Most of us have felt the sting of rejection and the discomfort of not fitting into societal expectations. The fear of man's opinion can become a heavy weight to carry, one that hinders us from living our lives fully in Christ. Today's verse reminds us to focus on what truly matters - God's approval instead of man's.

Choosing to fear God over fearing man comes with incredible freedom. Fear of man leads to a trap because it is an endless chase for approval that we can never fully achieve. However, when our fear shifts to God, it is a holy reverence, an awe of who He is, and a recognition of His authority over our lives. When we yield to God’s authority, we find security and protection, unlike the temporal acceptance that comes from man.

The world may reject or accept us in turns, but God’s love for us remains constant. Let's strive to remember this truth in moments of doubt or fear. By relying on Him instead of human approval, we can experience a peace that transcends all understanding.
