And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

1 John 4:16 (NIV)

Today's verse reminds us of the pure beauty and profound depth of God's love. This love isn't temporary or conditional; it's eternal, a love that remains with us and in us always.

Our reading today encourages us to understand and know - truly know - that God is love. And whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in them. It's an intertwined relationship, one that cannot exist without the other.

We become vessels of His love, radiating warmth and compassion to the world around us, when we make the conscious decision to dwell in love. It's more than just a feeling; it's a state of being, a place where we reside spiritually.

The beauty of this love is its inclusion; it welcomes everyone. Whether we feel far from God, close to Him, or anywhere in between, His love reaches us. And what's more, this love invites us to draw nearer to Him, to rest in Him, and allow His love to transform our lives. So, let's carry this understanding of God's love in our hearts, allowing it to shape our actions and our words.

Today’s Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your boundless, unchanging love. Help me to fully grasp the depth of Your love and live within it daily. Use me as a vessel to show Your love to the world. As I abide in Your love, let it transform every aspect of my life, strengthening my faith and drawing me closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
