In a world where discord often seems more prevalent than unity, these are attributes that can sometimes feel challenging to uphold. Yet, as believers in Christ, we are implored to nurture and display these qualities.

Unity is particularly critical. It's not about agreeing on every detail but finding commonality in our shared faith and love for God. When we're unified in purpose, we amplify the strength of the church, becoming a powerful force that propels God's mission forward.

Likewise, our reading directs us toward empathy and compassion. These are the tools through which we can truly understand and serve others. Living out empathy equips us to bear burdens alongside others, sharing in their joys and sorrows, thereby reflecting God’s love for us all.
