Understanding the Prayer Card
Dec 7, 2025
In Uplift, every post you see in a feed is displayed in a prayer card — a compact, informative snapshot that makes it easy to browse and engage. Prayer cards give you the ability to quickly scroll through a feed and spot prayers that matter to you most.
Each card shows the handle of the person posting. If the prayer is for another Uplift user, you’ll also see that person’s handle. The post date appears too, with cards shown in newest-to-oldest order — except for updated prayers, which move to the top.
The “Posted In” section tells you where the prayer was shared. If it’s in a group you’re part of, it will say Group. Prayers can be posted in Groups and Public spaces. You’ll also see a short synopsis of the prayer, letting you know the core need at a glance.
Keywords attached to the prayer act like instant topics, helping you quickly understand the focus of the request. At the bottom, you’ll find stats showing how many people have favorited, commented, and prayed. Quick-action links let you favorite, comment, or register your prayer directly from the card. If a photo was included, it will be shown too.
Tapping a handle or keyword takes you to its detail page. Tap anywhere else on the card, and you’ll open the Prayer Details page for a closer look at the request and its updates.
Prayer cards are designed to keep you informed, inspired, and connected — so you can spend more time praying and less time searching.
