To add a prayer in Uplift, tap on the plus sign at the top of the app, next to the bell icon. The window that opens lets you tell the app where you want the prayer to be posted. You may post the app to any of your groups and/or to the Public. If you check the public option, please be aware everyone using the app may be able to see and interact with this request.

Also on the add a prayer page you can either allow or not allow comments to be made. By unchecking the Allow Comments option others who view your request will not be able to share comments.

On the add a prayer page you may also type in optional text that describes your prayer. Keep this as short as it can be to describe what is going on. Tap the Keywords option to select keywords to describe your prayer. If you are praying for someone that is using the app, tap on the Pray For option to add their handle. If you add a person in the Pray For field, they will be notified of a request being posted in their name. You may also add a photo by tapping the Photo icon. Once at least 1 keyword is selected the Post option becomes available. Tap Post and your prayer will be posted to the areas you indicated earlier.

Be sure to come back to any prayer you post and give updates. The more you keep people up to speed the more of an encouragement your prayer request might be for others on the app.
