The bell icon, the second from the right icon at the top of the Uplift screen, is where you can view all notifications that have been generated for you. If the bell icon has a red dot on it, that means you have an unread notification. Tap on the bell icon and your notifications window opens. Tap on a notification and you will usually be taken to the post for more review.

Typically, you will be notified when a prayer is posted, commented on, or marked as answered by someone you follow, or when a specific prayer or a keyword you follow has some activity. You can adjust how many notifications you get by making changes in the settings of the app—we will cover this in another blog post.

At the top of the notifications window is a trashcan icon. Tap this to delete all the notifications in your inbox. You may also mark all notifications as read by tapping the double checkmark icon. Slide left on any notification and you can mark it as unread or delete it.

Some notifications—like those you receive when you are invited to join a Personal Group—give you the ability to link directly to take action from the notification itself. Notifications allow users to stay connected and up to date when it comes to all their personal prayer focus.
