Build Your Own Prayer Year with AI

Have you ever wished you had a full year of daily prayers mapped out—tailored to your spiritual goals, focused themes, or even specific seasons of life? With the help of AI, creating a 365-day prayer schedule is more possible—and personal—than ever.

Recently, we set out to build a yearlong prayer planner using AI. The result? A fully structured, 52-week schedule with daily prayers, each tied to a weekly theme and paired with a reflection prompt to carry throughout the day. You can now download this free CSV-based prayer calendar to use, customize, or expand on your own.

What We Created — And How

We began with a plan: organize the year into 52 themed weeks. Each week had a spiritual focus like peace, joy, or identity in Christ, and each day featured a short prayer and a thoughtful reflection question.

Using AI, we drafted and refined every element. Once the CSV file was created, we could easily load it into a spreadsheet program like Google Sheets or Excel, making it easy to scan, update, or rearrange.

Why Use a CSV Prayer Schedule?

A CSV file might sound technical, but it’s really just a simple table of information. The beauty of this format is in how flexible it is. Bring the file into a spreadsheet, combine it with a word processor and with it, you can:

  • Print out prayer cards for each week or day
  • Mail merge daily prayers into emails or notes
  • Create prayer journals or booklets
  • Adapt the prayers to specific groups, themes, or seasons
  • Track your prayer journey with space for journaling or responses

Customize Your Own with AI

Want a schedule that focuses on parenting, grief, or spiritual leadership? Ask AI to help you outline custom weekly themes, generate prayers that reflect your heart, or even write reflection questions or Scripture references. You’re not stuck with one template—AI can help you build one that fits your prayer life exactly.

You might even add:

  • Verses for meditation
  • Action steps for each day
  • Personal names or situations to lift in prayer

The possibilities are endless.

What’s Next?

In future posts, we’ll explore how to automate delivery—sending each day’s prayer to your inbox or as a notification on your phone. But for now, we invite you to download our starter plan, load it into your favorite spreadsheet, and start building your own rhythm of prayer.

You don’t need to wait for the perfect devotional book. You can create your own—with God, and a little help from AI.
