Freedom from the Grip of Shame
Nov 9, 2025
Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
Psalm 34:5 (NIV)
Dear God,
Sometimes I carry shame like a second skin—hiding, performing, pretending. But You offer freedom. You clothe me with grace, not guilt. Help me believe that I am forgiven, clean, and loved in Christ. Silence the lies that tell me I’m not enough. Let Your truth be louder than my regret. Heal what shame has broken and restore what it’s stolen. Today, I walk in the identity You’ve given me—beloved, redeemed, whole.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
