Praying for Refugees and the Displaced

The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Psalm 146:9 (NIV)

Dear Lord,
You are the God who sees and cares for the stranger, the wanderer, the one without a home. Today, I lift up the millions of refugees around the world—those forced to flee their homes, their countries, their lives. Be their shelter and protector. Provide for their every need—safety, food, healing, and hope. Restore dignity where it has been stripped away. Bring comfort in their uncertainty and direction for their next steps. Raise up leaders and communities willing to open doors and offer welcome. Anchor them in hope, and let justice flow like a river.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
