Praying for the Persecuted Church
Oct 24, 2025
Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
Hebrews 13:3 (NIV)
God in Heaven,
Today I lift up my brothers and sisters around the world who follow You in places of danger and oppression. Their courage humbles me. Their faith challenges me. I pray for Your protection to surround them like a shield. Strengthen them with Your Spirit when they feel weak. Encourage them with hope when they face trials. Let them sense the prayers of the global Church standing with them in unity. Remind them they are not forgotten and that their faithfulness is bearing fruit for eternity. Give boldness to share the gospel even when it costs them. Bring revival through their witness, and may their persecutors be touched by Your love. I ask for governments to turn toward justice, for captives to be set free, and for peace to reign in lands of unrest. Use my prayers to build them up and remind me that we are one Body, joined in Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
