Creating a Culture of Prayer

Prayer shouldn’t be a side dish in your ministry — it should flavor everything you do. Creating a culture of prayer means helping your team and congregation see prayer as essential, not optional.

Start by modeling it. Let people see that prayer is part of your leadership rhythm, not just a meeting opener. Invite others into times of prayer, whether before services, during planning sessions, or at random moments of need.

Make prayer visible. Include it in announcements, on your website, and in group gatherings. When prayer is woven into the fabric of your ministry, people begin to expect and embrace it.

Celebrate answered prayer. Share testimonies, big or small. It helps people see prayer as powerful and personal.

Most of all, keep it real. A culture of prayer isn’t built on performance — it grows through honest, persistent seeking of God together.
