The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

Psalm 138:8 (NIV)

Our reading today gives us assurance that the Lord will fulfill His purposes for our lives. We are all here for a reason, and that can be comforting to know. It eases the occasional feelings of insignificance we may have, reminding us that we are part of God's grand plan.

Yet, there are times when we may feel lost or uncertain about our path in life. We may find ourselves questioning if we’re walking along the right path or if the choices we’ve made align with His will. During these moments, it's essential to remember today's verse and its promise. It is not our job to complete the work; that's God’s undertaking.

He is faithful. He doesn't just start things; He finishes them. And most importantly, He does not abandon His projects midway. Trusting in His fidelity, we must continue to walk in faith, even when we cannot see the whole staircase. Remember, God’s work within us is ongoing, until it reaches completion.
