Today's verse offers such profound assurance for every believer. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, unequivocally assures that no one can snatch us from His hand. What a comfort this is!

In a world filled with shifting sands—unpredictable circumstances, changing relationships and wavering loyalties—Jesus presents Himself as the immovable rock on which we can anchor our lives. His grip on us is firm and secure, not dependent on our performance or Will, but solely reliant on His finished work on the cross.

Furthermore, not only are we held in the hands of Jesus, we are also enfolded in the grasp of God the Father. The perfect unity between the Father and the Son provides an extraordinary double assurance. When doubts arise, when fears encroach, let us look to today's verse and find peace in knowing that we are held securely by both our Savior and our Heavenly Father.
