We are reminded of our interaction with societal authorities and our obligation to honor them. This may come in the form of taxes, respect, or obedience to the law. God ordains these authorities, and when we submit to them, we submit to His order.

The essence of paying what is due is not just about monetary taxation but also includes giving respect and honor where and when it is due.
