The Cornerstone of Faith

[The Resurrection of Christ] Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 (NIV)
Our lives are filled with trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows. Amid these roller coasters of emotions and experiences, it's easy to lose sight of the overarching narrative that frames our existence and provides meaning to our journey – the Gospel message.
In our scripture reading today, Paul brings this Gospel truth back into focus. It isn't just a story that happened two thousand years ago; it's an ongoing reality, reverberating across time and informing every moment of our lives. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are not just historical events; they are living realities. Today, let's remember and rejoice in the fact that the hope we have in Christ isn't rooted in abstract concepts or philosophical debates, but in solid historical reality.
